Visas & Invitation Letters

Invitation letter request

If your embassy requires a letter from the main hosting chairperson of the APESS Summer School and/or ANCRiSST Workshop Prof. G. C. Marano, we will provide visa support letters. If you require one, please email the APESS secretary board ( apessancrisst26@gmail.com ).

The following information should be included with your email request:

  1. Full Name
  2. Title & Position (e.g. Prof./Dr./Ph.D. Student/PE etc.)
  3. Affiliation
  4. Address
  5. Contacts (Email address) 
  6. Nationality
  7. Passport Number
  8. Abstract title & authors list (or indicating the solely APESS 2026 Summer School in-person Attendance)
  9. Length of your planned stay in Italy (in particular, indicating if you will attend in-person to ANCRiSST Workshop Conference only, APESS Summer School only, or both)

In order to obtain a visa letter, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Have registered and paid in full the mandatory requested contribution;
  • Your abstract must be accepted for presentation to the ANCRiSST Workshop conference (if you have not yet received an acceptance email, please notify us while sending the email for the invitation letter request)
  • Declaring by email if you will attend or not in-person the APESS Summer School in Torino, ITALY (this will influence the length of your stay and therefore the invitation letter reported information);

Visas for Italy

The APESS Summer School organisers and ANCRiSST Workshop organizers, as well as Politecnico di Torino DISEG department, cannot contact or intervene with any Embassy or Consulate office abroad on your behalf so please begin your visa application process as soon as you determine that you want to attend the APESS Summer School and/or ANCRiSST Workshop. Please provide as much information as possible to avoid delays in receiving your letter.

You must register and pay in full the mandatory requested contribution for the conference/summer school before requesting and being eligible to be issued of an invitation letter.
